JustHourglasses.com Provides 230 Thanksgiving Meals to Homeless
We have an abundance of gratitude for the blessings that our business brings. Most of all we get to play a very small part of our customer's lives, sometimes even significant events. Be it a sand ceremony at a wedding, a corporate gift marking a major milestone, or a memorial for a lost loved one, the feedback we receive fills our hearts.
We are very grateful once again to be able to make a supporting donation to one of our favorite local charities, the Open Door Mission. Our donation will help provide 230 hot meals to area homeless during the Thanksgiving week.
ODM provides not only food for those without but also safe, warm beds for them to sleep in. Here in the Midwest it gets very cold this time of year and it can be quite dangerous to be out in the elements. The mission doesn't have unlimited resources but is able to provide over 800 beds.
We fully support Open Door Mission in their mission to break the cycle of homelessness.
