I had ordered a Bobbin barometer and added the sand timer because I thought it looked interesting. Not only is it interesting, but it far exceeded my expectations. The compass works correctly and the clock keeps perfect time. It is a great piece to add to my collection. I on the waiting list if one ever comes for sale again.
