We've assembled a package for you to add to any of our hourglass kit options! Included are two glass containers, ribbon to hold your globe in place, and 2 sand colors of your choice to add aesthetically pleasing fullness to the globe (about 1/2 full - the usual "look" of an hourglass). Choice of black or white ribbon, short or tall containers. We will email you after purchase to confirm your preferred sand colors or you can write them in the notes section during checkout.

Sand Ceremony for my wedding

The absolute best addition to our wedding. Thank you so much sending the kit so quickly so we were able to include the sand ceremony in our wedding!

Perfect wedding

We wanted something unique to represent our unity, the hour glass certainly represented this in a great way. The hour glass was the perfect size! We have one with a wooden stand the hour glass sits in which is now an elegant piece displayed in our home!!!!

I absolutely recommend justhourglasses.com! Working with Shannon in customer service was wonderful. She made sure that everything was correct for our order and was quick to make revisions as needed! When the box arrived, I was in a bit of panic, as the courier really beat it up, but everything was packed so well, there were no issues when I opened everything! We did get the ceremony kit and quickly realized that the ribbon was important to have in order to keep the legs and hourglass upright in order to add the sand. It was wonderful to have the small funnel, but it was a bit challenging to not pour too much in at once. It made for a great laugh during the ceremony, because we both spilled a bit and I just said, well I guess that's less time in time out!! Such a unique experience at our wedding and love having it as a memento of our special day! Thank you!!

Overall a very nice product

Overall, we are very satisfied with the hourglass we got from JustHourglasses.com... the one improvement that could be made is a better means for closing up the hourglass for use post ceremony. I am a little concerned about how long it will hold up. I guess time will tell. I will say that the customer service from this company was exceptional thought... 5 stars there for sure!

Thanks for the kind words Ronald! The cap and epoxy that come with the hourglass to seal the globe are meant to be permanent so please do not be concerned :-).
