This custom Signature Collection hourglass is handcrafted from solid cocobolo wood grown in Central America. A beautiful wood, it's denseness makes it very strong and durable and it finishes very smoothly. The color is a variegated yellow-orange, dark red with irregular black stripes. Like all wood cocobolo varies in graining and color - with some hourglasses the black stripes are more prominent, in others the yellow-orange color is more prominent. No two are alike. Combined with glass bulbs hand-blown in England, this classic piece is stunning.

As with all wood each piece will vary slightly in graining and color making each hourglass unique. Hourglasses are handmade so sizes are approximate.

You assemble, no sand - for customers who want to add their own sand (i.e. two different colors). Note: globe provided has a larger hole to accommodate different types of sand so timer accuracy is not ensured.
You assemble, sand included - for customers who want a more accurate hourglass. The natural sand you see pictured comes with your kit. Note: 11x21 size only available assembled.

Even Better Than We Expected

This was a gift and the first words out of the recipient's mouth were, "This is so beautiful! I love the wood! It is gorgeous! And the hourglass is protected too!" She loved the fact that we'd had the top and bottom engraved and loves the quality of the hourglass. For me, the company was so easy to work with. My experience

This product gets five stars from me, after an ordeal, it was well worth it. I had it personalized intending to give it as a gift. I got the delivery notification and went home excited and picked up the box and sand came pouring out of the bottom, my hourglass was broken. I emailed the customer service team and was met with a reply containing profuse apologies and a shipping label requesting that it be sent back for repair immediately. It arrived just a couple days ago in perfect working order, and it is absolutely gorgeous. Thank you to the craftsman and the wonderful customer service team!
