Wasn't quite what I wanted

I thought I would be able to remove the sand and replace it with ashes but notice I could not. I will be returning the Item. It is a nice hourglass!

This hourglass looks great. It is now the centre piece of my little reading area. And, for some shifting sand, it is pretty close to actually being a 1-hour hourglass - 61 minutes and 48 seconds - not bad at all.
