We now have sand available for your kit hourglass purchased from us! We suggest purchasing 2 (total) of whichever colors you like to get an aesthetically pleasing fullness to the globe (approx 1/2 full).

Available colors: black, burgundy, canary yellow, cobalt blue, coral, green, moonshadow, orange, orchid, pink, purple, red, sage, silver/grey, sky blue, tan, teal and white and NEW - navy and turquoise!

Beautiful color

The sand had beautiful color, and low powder which is nice, however the grains are too large and are also very rough and jagged (if you look at them under a microscope (I know, I'm a nerd)) which causes them to lock up and not flow through my Kelvin and Hughes hourglass. Unfortunately, because of that I cannot use the sand.Now I'm using number 12 glass beads for the "sand" with no issues.
