2 Minute Glass Timer Silver or Gold

Shannon was wonderfully helpful. I needed something for two minutes, and she was kind enough to test one for me. She even was willing to sell a wooden base, too, like those that are available with the one-minute ones.

But, like the one-minute, I wish the two-minute was also available in the white. As I waited to hear back concerning a detached, very thin paper liner/pad for the wood, I realized my overall dissatisfaction growing with it was that the ‘silver,’ in actuality, was really more of an unhappy gray.

I told Shannon, sad as it was — it’s a lovely little timer — I’d have to send it back. It was mailed out today. A picture, comparing a timer I had (also in silver) is shown for comparison.

If white becomes available in two minutes, I’d jump on it — but without the base this time. While another reviewer convinced me, saying it’d held hers upright squarely and perfectly, I’m afraid that was not my experience. The timer sits beautifully flat and sturdy on its own, and doesn’t really need a base.
